New Features

In light of many comments around the Anglican blogeshpere, posted by many Romans and Anglo-Catholics, who perceive the entire Anglican tradition being "called-out" by Walter Cardinal Kasper of the RCC, for not being Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant and many who feel that we should all go "Newman" en masse....................STOP, catch your breath, relax and think.....Anglican, Anglican, Anglican.

For all of those who want to keep-up with the Romans and have lost touch with their Anglican identity, I offer two new features, first is the "Olde Anglican Quote of the Day", that will help us remember the uniqueness of our Anglican identity and draw on the wisdom of Anglican preachers, writers, theologians and thinkers of the past, who have shaped what is Anglican and second is the "Patristic Quote of the Day" which will help put in perspective the fact that until the last half century, Anglicanism was a cornerstone of Christendom and not the structural weak spot.

I would like to thank Pastor William Weedon of Weedon's Blog, from whom I borrowed the idea and inspiration for these features and remind him the imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :)

Way Cool! I will look forward to this. We may have a double heaping of heretics in our branch of the church, but.......the church of Cramner, Hooker, Baxter, The Wesleys, Wilberforce, Newton, The Uganda Martyrs, CS Lewis and Dorothy Sayers is still alive where word and sacrament are faithfully proclaimed in Nigeria, Rwanda, Fort Worth, Argentina, and many other places--even Slippery Rock.

I am excited, your good blog gets better!
