A post over at The Comfortable Words reminded me of one of my favorite images. It is the poster of "The Great Rapprochement", the beginning of our alliance with our British kin.
Usually I feel that the Unites States is isolated in a world of relativism or peace at any cost regardless of principal, but Nicholas reminds me that we do have some people that care about us as we do them.

That's a truly wonderful poster, redolent of pretty much everything I approve of! Thanks very much for posting it up.
There's a British blog, run by Conservative Party activists, called American In The World, which seeks to combat anti-Americanism worldwide. You might find it interesting.
Thanks also for the Prayer For Families which you're showing this month.
The only thing missing from this poster is "Common Faith" with a Cross next to it; I am sure it would be the icing on the cake for those who despise this type of Anglospheric promotion.
I thought the same thing when I saw the poster!
