New Skillet Video

I don't consider Christian Rock as worship music and It can never be placed in that category, it is rock music with a Christian or Gospel message and I love my Rock music, the harder the better.

One of my favorite groups in this genre is Skillet, who has just released a new video for their song Hero. The images of a Seviceman, a Nurse, a Firefighter and a Police Officer are great and would have been even better had this been released on 9/11.

Former Muslim Gives Great Testimony

Ergun Caner, the dean of Liberty Baptist Seminary, is a former Muslim and discusses coming to know Jesus.

My favorite quote from this video is when Mr. Caner states that "Jesus strapped himself to a cross, so I wouldn't have to strap a bomb to myself".

The same day I find and post this video the Bible Gateway Verse of the Day is 1 Peter 3:18......hmmmmmmmm

Newsboys - He Reigns

A great way to get this week started, a powerful, catchy and uplifting song.

OK here's the thing, I did this post out of You Tube on Monday and it doesn't get here until Thursday, I think this is the 2nd most aggravating thing, next to blogger's gremlin text editing.

Oh wait it gets better, I add the previous blurb to the post and the video disappears........nice

Right, I am going to re-post this from You Tube c&p the text from this post, if it works in a timely fashion then I will delete the original post.

DC Talk - Jesus Freak

Some people have a problem with Christian music that has an edge or seems too modern.

If you look back through history, Christian music has reflected it's time and place of origin and the way it proclaimed its love of GOD in a way felt by those who wrote it and heard it.

The other point that the song and the imagery of the video makes, that people have been persecuted for their faith even unto ridicule, torture or death. The images shown of persecution are mainly from the Soviet era in Russia, NAZISM in Germany and the Civil Rights Movement in the U.S.

I am posting this music video also as a dedication to all those who are persecuted to this day for their Christian faith.
